LONDON – Boss’ flagship fragrances are back with two new testimonials and a new offering for Generation Z and young Millennial audiences.

Coty Inc., the perfume company Boss: The Scent Le Parfum, tapped the Australian actor Jacob Elordi, star of the “Euphoria” series, and American actress Laura Harrier, of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “BlacKkKlansman”, for the new campaign, which kicks off this weekend.

The campaign film was directed by Marco Prestini.

Coty described the fragrances as a “reinterpretation” of the original scents, but with “unique” formulations. The concentration is 18% for men’s fragrances and 20% for women’s fragrances. Coty said the two juices provide a “high interpretation” of the original scent.

Coty brand director, Prestige said: “With demand for prestigious fragrances on the rise, this is an exciting launch for Boss, building on the brand’s legacy while also revealing a new chapter. this, three years from the last campaign,” said Coty Brand Manager, Prestige, Constantin Sklavenitis.

The new Boss The Scent fragrance, launches on January 15, along with a campaign starring Laura Harrier and Jacob Elordi.

He added that Coty wants to build its brand on “global recognition and authentic connection with consumers globally. At Coty, we know the power of fragrance. It has the ability to elevate mood and evoke feelings.

He continued: “Boss Parfums is dedicated to the power of attraction and awakening of consumer cravings for fantasy, passion and sensuality. “We believe this is the scent that consumers younger than 18 are looking for, as it taps into a new dimension of seductive intensity.”

The fragrances will be launched across the brand’s main fragrance markets, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. It will also be available at Europe Travel Retail in Northern Europe.

The pre-launch begins in early January in France and the UK, while the fashion house is scheduled to reveal the campaign and talent on 15 January.

Harrier said she feels “honored and delighted” to continue her relationship with Boss.

“In this campaign, the Boss woman is more present and sensual than ever and I am excited to explore this new dimension of seduction,” she said. Harrier is also one of the faces of Boss Alive, along with Emma Roberts, Bruna Marquezine and Chloe Bennet.

Elordi said that growing up, he always admired Boss ambassadors. “Now in the same position, I’m humbled and excited for what’s to come,” he said.

Boss The Scent Le Parfum for Him has a capacity of 50 ml. and 100 ml. Bottles range in price from 89 euros to 119 euros in Europe, while the women’s version is available in 30 ml. and 50 ml. bottles, prices from 71 euros to 100 euros.

Coty describes Boss The Scent Le Parfum for Him as a “powerful reinterpretation” of the signature ambery fragrance with notes of iris, leather, ginger and Maninka fruit. The ice bottle is housed in a rose gold cage and encased in an ice box.

Boss The Scent Le Parfum for Her has also kept the characteristic imprint of the original scent. Additionally, it has spicy top notes of pink pepper, followed by orange blossom and vetiver. It also includes airy Akigalawood, a Givaudan registered trademark note and structurally similar to patchouli.

The jewel-shaped bottle is ripe plum color and features a light-reflective cap with a rose gold finish. The box is ripe plum color.

Boss The Scent for men was originally launched in 2015 under the old license of the brand Procter & Gamble Prestige. The first iteration features notes of ginger, lavender and leather, and also marks the fragrance debut of the Maninka fruit, from an African plant also known as the snuff box tree.

The female partner of The Boss debuted in 2016, also under P&G Prestige. Eau de parfum has a combination of top notes of peach and freesia, base notes are roasted cocoa and heart notes of osmanthus, a flower likened to apricots and peaches.

Boss’ men’s line made its first foray into perfumery in 1985. Coty completed the merger with Procter & Gamble Co’s Specialty Beauty Business. Inc. in 2016.
